Match 120- Screeming Mantis Vs Rita's Manaphy

Rita: GO MANAPHY!
[Sends out Manaphy]
Manaphy: PHIIEEEE!
Audiance: AWWWW! SO CUTE!
Fred: Oy... FIGHT!

Mantis flew in followed by a FROG unit.

[I'm assumeing thats a Mech of some sort]
[Manaphy uses Ice beam to try and Freeze the Frog Unit's Joints]

OOC: Its a squad of soldiers.

The soldiers surrounded Manaphy.

[Manaphy uses Surf, hitting the Squad and Mantis]

Well since a little less than half the squad was far behind Manaphy, they didn't get hit. They fired, while the rest of the group washed against the wall.

[If they were behind Manaphy, don't you think they'ed be hit 1st? You've seen the Surf Animations? right? the Wave comes from behind...]

OOC: thus the reason I said far behind. They made a large perimeter around it.

[It can't be that large, the Arena may be big but it ain't That big, Plus Manaphy started the match close to a wall as it is...]

OOC: Isn't that convenient? lol.

They were all hit. The FROGs started climbing the walls. Mantis pulled out a gun and fired at Manaphy.

[Manaphy uses Waterfall to block the bullets]
[MYTHBUSTERS TESTED THIS. You can Avoid Bullets by diveing into a body of water. If I remember correctly the bigger (Or faster I think) the Bullet, the more likely it'll be shreded and Uneffective...]

OOC: Bullets can't move as quickly through water. But you can still be hit if you just sit still and let them shoot you.

They all shot at Manaphy.

[Manaphy Counters with Dive (In some way it Dives underwater, it's a water Version of Dig, but I bet you knew that)]

A soldier jumped down and attempted to shock Manaphy while it was submerged. Mantis and the others rose higher to get out of range.

[Of course the Soldier couldn't Reach Manaphy. With everyone else out of the way manaphy had no Choice but to hit the Soldier that came after it.]

The attack somehow snapped the soldier's neck killed her. A few smoke grenades were thrown at Manaphy.

[Manaphy uses Surf]

Everybody was out of range. They all shot at Manaphy again. A few snipers loaded ammo and locked on to Manaphy.

[Manaphy uses Dive again, avoiding the bullets]
SD: Manaphy sure is doing better then Pichu was...
Bill: I'll say, start of the Match and Pichu ended up going down to 1 HP....

With a wave of Mantis' hand, the FROG that Manaphy had just killed floated toward the spot where Manaphy had just been.

The snipers shoot at Manaphy, since they were locked on they should hit. This special ammo won't do any damage.

[Because Manaphy is underwater the Sniper's fire is useless]
Fred: Oh comeon! [Looks at the clock] Just a bit more and I can kick that Frog Unit out...
Bob: Ehh? how so
Fred: They count as a Summon, and if a Summon lasts Too long I can kick it out. There's only one Exception I've made and That's Kirby's Helper...
Bill: I see, that was put in so that Bahamut wouldn't stay out forever?
Fred: That and for Duel Monsters... we don't want to see a Blue-Eyes white Dragon out for that long do we? Besides you think it's fair if that you go in thinking it's 1 on 1 and then suddenly you've got 10 to 1?
Bob: Not fair at all...

OOC: The Frogs are more like weapons to Mantis. If you have ever played MGS4 you would know why. Also Lock-on=auto hit when we're talking about Pokemon. Except in the case of OHKO moves.

[You can use Lock on all you want, when useing the moves Fly, Dig, Dive, Bounce and Shadow Force any move used misses (With SOME exceptions, for example, a flying and Bounceing foe may be hit by Thunder, a digging foe by Earthquake...)]
[FYI, if Fred counts them as a Summon, they count as a Summon Remember that the Ref's Judgement is Final...unless otherwise stated by the Ref himself...]

Fine about the FROGs being summons.

[I stand corrected on my last statement but what about the "Bullets ineffective in water" thing we talked about earlier? Did we ever come to a conclusion on that? I can't tell...]

OOC: That really shouldn't matter once lock-on is in effect. But in Metal Gear I've been shot while underwater so.....

[Hate to say it wernid but with No Votes, I'll be ruleing on it... Fourtunetly for you I'm ruleing in your Favor since I should be focusing on attack rules rather then Real Life Situations... However Next time an ACTUAL Lock on MOVE must be used for that Effect to Work Completely, a weapons system lock is different then other Moves that Make the Next Move Always hit... Manaphy takes quite a bit of Damage... Manaphy comes up right from underneith Mantis and hits]
SD: I wounder if there's any refernce to Psyco Mantis...
Snake: *Grumble* I hated Mantis...

OOC: Grazie, SD. I'll keep that in mind. Psycho Mantis controls all of the BB Corps. Snake should know that but I guess he's the MGS1 version of Snake though isn't he?

Mantis was hit. All of the FROGs died instantly.

[Not Nessisaraly. I consider him the "Brawl" Version of Solid snake (Especialy since I haven't played Metal Gear, Only seen Vids on You Tube)...]
[Manaphy then uses Ice Beam]

Mantis used the Nanobots, from the last shot, inside Manaphy to make the attack miss. Mantis tried to make Manaphy to attack itself.

[Manaphy senced this after the Ice beam... Quicky it uses Heart swap (Brawl Style!). Mantis and Manaphy have Switched Bodies!]
Bob: HEART SWAP?! I thought it allready knew 4 mo- It's Brawl style isn't it.
Bill: Yup, makes it legal...
Rita: But why is Manaphy doing it, is there a reason behind it?
SD: Something we can't see?

Mantis looked confused.

[I am right in assumeing that Screeming Mantis and Psyco Mantis are one and the Same, right? If so then this should work...] [Manaphy, in Mantis' Body, excerts Psycic Powers on Mantis trying to send him Flying into a wall]
Bob: Manaphy dosn't seem disoriented at all.
SD: Combo of mine and Rita's Training... take what you get and use it to the MAX...

OOC: No, Psycho Mantis is just controlling Screaming. Manaphy's mind technically should be under the control of Psycho after that but we'll just forget about that. Screaming is now free of Psycho's control now and doesn't know what to do. Screaming Mantis does have the ability of telekinesis however.

Screaming Mantis let out a large shriek as her body was slammed into a wall.

[Actualy let's count Psyco into it then! With the Sudden Switch, Psyco Mantis Suddenly finds a Bunch of Resistance to him controleing Screaming's Body and Mind (Especialy since Screaming isn't in there anymore).]

Psycho didn't have much of a problem controlling Screaming because of her psychological instability before, but Manaphy was healthy mentally so he was having a lot of trouble. He tried to bring Manaphy's mind under his own control.

Screaming's mind was completely free of Psycho's hold now. She began rolling around in circles while letting out a blood-curdling scream.

[Manaphy's mind is more then healthy. and Training from SD and Rita make Manaphy's mind and will stronger then most... Rembering earlyer events, Manaphy tries to summon the FROG units from before...]

Psycho prevented any more FROGs coming. The dead bodies of the other FROGs still littered the arena.

[Manaphy, seeing the Condition of Mantis, decided on a final way to end it, using Psychic powers Manaphy sends Mantis Really high into the air, then tires to send him flying out of the arena for a "Ring out" Victory]

Fred: GAME SET! RING OUT! [Suddenly the bodies Switch, Manaphy's Body and Mind are in the Arena and Mantis' Body andMind is out of the ring] The winner is.... Manaphy
Rita: YEA! WOOHOO!! ALLRIGHT MANAPHY
SD: nice.... nice... Manaphy's officialy done better then Pichu.
