Status Ailments are things that effect your Char.
There's a lot of Status Ailments, while most are bad, some can be good. the ones you don't want you make a Saveing Roll, so long as you don't roll high then you won't be effected. Here's a list of Statuses and how they effect People. Keep in Mind that D6 means it works on a 5 or 6, D6H Menas that a 6 will only work, D6L means you need to watch out for 4 5 or 6, D10 is in the Same way (D10= 9 or 10, D10H= 10, D10L=8,9 or 10)

Normal
Effect: You have no Special Status
Inflict: Default
Poison
Effect: Slightly weaker Stats, Gradual HP loss. Persists After Battle
Inflict: Normal D6; Ground Type D10; Steel and Poison Types No Effect; Undead No Effect
Paralize (1)
Effect: Victim Rolls a Die for Every attack, attack works on Even Numbers and Fails on Odd Numbers. Also Speed is Cut in Half. Persists after Battle
Inflict: Delt from Pokemon moves D10, Ground Types No Effect
Paralize (2)
Effect: Delt from Spells and Special Attacks, the Victim can not move for a set ammount of turns
Inflict: Normal D6
Burn
Effect: Attack lowered, Victim delt Slight HP Damage durring Battle, Persists after battle with No Damage. Damage increased Durring Intence Sun
Inflict: Normal D6, Fire Type D10H, Ice and Plants D6L
Frozen
Effect: Victim is Frozen Solid for a set amount of time. Or each attack on them they roll, if they get a 6 (3 or up for Fire attacks) then the Ice Breaks. Persists after battle
Inflict: Normal D6, Fire and Ice Types D10H
