Round 2 Match 4- Ovan vs. Dr. Doom

"These two sure have one thing in common: they're power hungry maniacs. We have Ovan and Dr. Doom," Steve announced.

"I seenk Doom vill vin. He takes on four vhile Ovan takes on sree."

"But the Fantastic Four aren't that great."

"Zey are being called Fantasteek for a reeson!"

"Begin."

Doom: I requested I fight multiple fighters! One on one is a bit unfair for these saps. Allow me to demonstrate on this poor fool!

*Doom places his hands together DBZ style, then fires a huge blast of energy at him*

OOC: You can see Ovan in my sig if you don't know already.

Ovan swings his large left arm in front of the blast and completely absorbs it. "Surely you aren't that over confident?"

Doom: Over confident? No, not at all. Your powers are just far below me.

*Doom raises his hand at Ovan and a beam shoots out similar to a tractor beam, it hits Ovan in the chest, then pulls him directly into his clutches, Doom slams his other hand onto Ovan's face and from it a energy blast engulfs Ovan*

(Beasted! lol)

Ovan rolled out of the way. "Sounds like overconfidence to me," he chuckled. Then Ovan transforms into his Tri-Edge form. He doesn't really go that slow, he just wants to make it dramatic for Haseo. Basically the lock falls off and his true form is revealed. Afterwards, he shot a bullet into the air.

Doom: Is that all? Ha!

*Doom disappears*

Doom: Boom.

*doom is standing right behind Ovan, he slams his fist into Ovan's back sending him flying*

(only if it hits)

Without turning around, Ovan's long arm grabbed Doom's and slammed him to his frontside. Immediately after, a meteor fell on Doom.

"Do not underestimate even the simplest of attacks," Ovan said, his glasses glinted in the sunlight.

*As the arm grabbed Doom, doom activated is gauntlets making Ovan virtually weightless, no matter how strong he is. Doom reverses Ovan's attack by flinging Ovan away over his shoulder, and as Ovan flew through the air a blast of energy follows*

OOC: The meteor still comes down on Doom.

All three of Ovan's arms pulled back, he slashed the energy beam and sent it back at Doom. An A-shaped beam went through the air toward him and a 'sign' appeared on the ground. Ovan landed on his feet and immediately stopped, no skid.

(Sorry forgot about that. Did not realize you would still do this. But I hate to be a pain but...)

*Doom hears the meteor and looks up at it, he reaches up, a beam shoots from his hand and the meteor stops in its place just inches from him, he then throws it at Ovan it collides with the energy blast, the blast is reduced to nothing, the meteor should then collide with Ovan*

(By the way, Ovan seems cool, what is this game for? It is .Hack right?)

OOC: Doom's blast or Ovan's? And yeah, he's from .hack//GU.

(The meteor stopped Doom's blast Ovan reflected)

OOC: The attack Ovan uses isn't really a beam but a slash. In the game the entire screen goes dark when its used.

The tri-slash cut right through the meteor and goes straight toward Doom.

*Doom is hit and skids backward*

Doom: Maybe you are different....... Let us put it to the test!

*Doom appears in front of Ovan in a split-second, he slams his palm into Ovan's chest releasing a blast of energy, he then brings his other fist over his head down on to Ovan, it looks 10X its normal size*

Ovan took the hit from the first attack but his third arm grabbed Doom's hand. While he was held in place, Ovan thrust his bayonet into Doom's chest and shot three bullets into him.

*Doom's personal shield absorbed most of damage, then Doom's gauntlets activated sending 10,000 volts of electrifies into Ovan*

The AIDA arm nullified the electricity. It swung Doom around over Ovan's head and slammed him against the wall and ground. He threw the doctor into the air and used tri-slash on him again.

*Doom was slammed to the ground, but once tossed into the air, he vanished, and before Ovan could even think Doom was behind him with his Ionic Blade drawn, he slashed at Ovan's back*

(basically cuts through anything..... By the way, Doom is not teleporting, he is stopping time for 30 seconds, a device he has in his gauntlets. So that means there is no time between when Doom disappears then reappears)

Ovan took the hit.

(No attack?)

*Doom punches Ovan's back, followed with a combo of his ionic blade*

Before Doom attacked, three orbs appeared as if from nowhere. One circled Ovan, another kept a close distance, the third randomly zigzagged around the arena. The first orb put up an indestructible wall and defended Ovan. Using his weaker, left arm, he ripped open a wyrm hole.

*Doom stops his attacks as he realizes he can't get through*

Doom: Impressive.

*Doom waits*

One orb heals Ovan while the other shoots plasma-like lasers at Doom. The hole rips wider across the arena on its own.

Ovan hacked the skill Vak Don to do fire damage to Doom.

(wow, this is confusing. so there is a force field blocking Ovan like in most boss battles. A wyrm hole is destroying the arena. A orb is healing Ovan, and an orb is attacking Doom?)

*Doom's shield absorbs the blasts fully, he then blasts the orb with a charged energy blast*

OOC: Don't forget that Ovan is attacking Doom with fire as well, and the beams don't do much physical damage, they mostly serve as a method to knock opponent into the air. Don't worry about the time limit.

The orb is immediately destroyed. 10:00 left.

The paper thin hole began stretching around the two combatants to make a maze within the arena.

"I have a new game for us," Ovan began, "If you can confront me before my AIDA catches you, I won't unleash my full power on you. You'll know AIDA when you see it. But watch out for the various traps. Prove that your brains match your brawn and don't cheat."

Black dots formed on the walls and formed hands, it was clearly AIDA. They reached for Doom.

Doom: You have a game for me? Thats my job.

*doom vanishes and reappears a good distance from the hands, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out three small remotes (droids), and releases them into the air, they begin searching through the maze for the exit*

Doom: Finishing a maze without cheating? Now that requires no brains at all. It is cheating that requires intellect.

*doom begins walking through the maze*

Doom reaches an empty opening from the north, Dennis is here. Exits are north, east, west, and Dennis.

Orbs appear out of the wall and attack the remotes. After they are finished off they go for Doom.

(Dennis?)

*Doom vanishes and reappears behind the orbs then fires one blast straight up the line of them*

OOC: Its from Dungeon man.

Doom appeared in a group of black dots. They immediately covered him, everything went black.

"I said no cheating," Ovan laughed, "Though I never said you couldn't teleport...well now I've made it a rule, 'don't teleport'. And remember, 'don't be overly aggressive either'."

Doom reappeared in a different area of the maze. But he was closer to Ovan. Exits are north, leading to Ovan.

*Doom laughed*

Doom: HA HA! O.K, but I have never been able to teleport. I merely created a gap in time in which only I can step into, so..... I'm not breaking the rules. Although, for me it is the same as walking so why waste its power. I could use a good walk.

*doom casually strolled through the maze going north toward Ovan, he was in no hurry*

"I wasn't quite sure what to call it. It doesn't matter however."

He reached Ovan.

"Yes, you've completed the maze..."

Doom: Some maze, stop by my castle and I'll show you a maze...... But for now. Take this!

*Doom fires a thin beam at Ovan, he will lose control of all his physical actions if it hits*

Ovan's barrier is still in effect. The orbs are still rotating around him, one heals him.

"I wasn't really interested in testing you in the maze," Ovan said, "But....tsk, tsk, tsk.....you broke the rules. I told you to confront me without being aggressive, you could have had a chance."

The maze formed a dome and collapsed on the two combatants.

Dr. Doom: Is that the case? Can't have that.

*Doom pulls an orb out and activates it just as the dome crashes, then time rewinds to the point in which Doom exited the maze, Ovan has no memory of what had happened, but Doom remembers everything*


Doom: Thanks for that, It was very peacefully in there. Glad I got the chance to experience it.

*Doom stood calmly with his hands behind his back watching Ovan, looking somewhat peaceful*

OOC: Cheap, well you know what they say about messing with time. If something was meant to happen it'll happen eventually. Deja vu is the strange feeling that something has happened before, not actually memory btw.

"Deja....vu?" Ovan questioned. He took no notice of Doom.

(lol, thats one of Doom's signature moves........ Doom is a cheater, I have to be in character. Sorry if you think its god-modding, I did not mean to. And yes, the victims usually feel deja vu, sorry for not stating so)

Doom: You say something?

*Doom looked at Ovan with a puzzled look*

"I have the strangest feeling that....nevermind," Ovan started, "Doom, I did not think you to be such the pacifist. I also find it strange that you wouldn't want to prove yourself against me at full power."

His sunglasses glinted again. "So you no longer wish to fight....." he smirked, "Then get down on your knees and beg for the fighting to stop. If you do, then I'll throw the match."

(Your...........mean......)

Doom: Of course.........

*Doom walks up to the edge of the force field*

Doom: Now........


*Doom unleashes a blast that has been charging the whole time doom was calmly walking in an out of the maze, he targets the orb making the wall*

(hopefully thats right. I never played the game, so I don't have the "how to beat Ovan manual" I don't really get the force field, is it around Ovan, or is it a wall separating the arena in two. )

OOC: Good, you figured out the source of the shield.

The orb was destroyed. "Thats the Doctor I've come to know..." Ovan chuckled, "Very well then, let us continue the fight."

The entire arena becomes engulfed in AIDA. They get transported to Epitaph space. The crowd can see them, but they can't see the crowd.

"Come 'The Rebirth!!!'" Ovan yelled as he was covered in blue chunks of data, "Corbeniiiiiiiiiiiik!!!! HAAAAAAHHH!!!"



OOC: He invincible when summoning Corbenik. Also Corbenik isn't really that slow, if you watch a fight between Avatars in a cutscene, you can see that they are much faster. They are only look slow to make the battle system easier.

(OMG! I need this game, lol. How is it I never heard of it before now?)

Doom: Impressive! But why do you get to pick the stage? Its my turn!

*Doom pulls out three orbs they float into the air, and at once blow up, they both are sent to Castle Doom, of course the crowd can see them, as always*

Doom: Welcome! To Castle Doom!

*Doom and Ovan are in a great hall type room of Castle Doom, around them are many machines*

Doom: First order of business!

*Doom suddenly grows 50 feet tall, he then attempts to step on Ovan*

OOC: I forgot one thing, Corbenik is invisible to Doom. He can still see Ovan floating in the air though.

Ovan threw spikes at Doom's foot and dashed out of the way.

(I thought they were the same person?)

*The spikes hit, Doom then kicks at Ovan with the other foot, and if it hits, Ovan is sent into the air and Doom punches him into the ground*

OOC: They are. Ovan is inside Corbenik. That only means it will be harder to dodge some attacks.

Ovan charged straight into the attack by using Devil's Verdict. Its shown at 1:35.

(I can't see how that would work if Doom is 50 foot? Can you explain? I see in the vid, Ovan grabs Albel. He can't do that to Doom as of now. Is it just the giant blast Ovan is using?)

OOC: Corbenik is at least 60 feet tall if not more. It should work. And thats Haseo, not Albel.

(oops I knew that, I just said the wrong name...... Should have told me the height thing, I probable would have not tried to step on him)

*The attack hits, Doom falls to one knee*

Doom: Impressive! Try this on for size!

*The machines around Ovan fire beams at him from all sides, he will be reduced to normal human size if hit, while this is going on Doom cuffs his hands and charges a blast*

Ovan flew up and dropped a dark ball in the middle of the machines. The ball exploded and spikes went in all directions. He sent cell-like AIDA's at Doom.

*The machines blew up*

*Doom shot the blast and it (I think) destroys the AIDA's and continues on toward Ovan*

Ovan threw another dark ball at the blast. If the blast is destroyed, the spikes go for Doom.

*The blast explodes, and the spikes afterward hit Doom, most of the damage absorbed by the his personal shield*

*Doom picks up a bazooka and fires it at Ovan, locked-on*
