Round 2 Match 4- Ovan vs. Dr. Doom

The orbs had already moved upon firing, their usual behavior. Doom could not see Ovan anywhere. The orbs fired again.

*The beams are reflected yet again having hit the Psionic Refractor*

*Doom pulls his arm down like he was pulling a train whistle-cord*

(You know what I'm talking about)

*Green lighting shoots from the sky and strikes all enemies, the orbs for now*

Bill: Dang this is some Match
Bob: Real long too.
SD: An interesting match
Kefka: Bah! They both look like they're wasteing time...

"Shouldn't you be fighting SD right now?" Doom retorts. But with out losing focus on the fight at hand.

OOC: Hint, hint. lol.

Ovan appeared behind Doom and grabbed him with his AIDA arm. He sent a wave of energy through Doom's body.

"I concur..." he remarked after hearing Doom.

(lol)

*Doom allowed the energy to pass through his body, then he redirected it to his hands, and shot it at Ovan while flying through the air*

The AIDA arm redirected the energy back at Doom. Ovan started glowing the same way he did before he summoned Corbenik.

*Doom caught it in his hand, sending it out his other, away from the fight*

Doom: I don't think so!

*Doom shot out a pulse, stopping anyone from going super form, or aura form or spirit form, Or Summons*

(which includes Corbenik. lol. Doom is so cheap. Yet awesome!)

OOC: Nope, he's just drawing out more of his power for the next attack. Doom should be caught off guard he thinks the attack will be stopped.

Ovan fired Data Drain at Doom.

(can he do that without Corbenik?)

*Doom is hit*

Doom: Hm, Impressive!

*Doom snapped his fingers and a explosion erupted in the center of Ovan its lock on*

(not inside of him, just at the spot)

Ovan took the hit and 'floated' into the air before landing again. He used Beast Awakening; a flame flashed in Ovan's eyes, the entire area got an orange tint. Doom's speed and defense went down. Ovan's speed and attack went up.

Ovan charged at Doom.

*Doom sticks out his hand and stops Ovan in place then throws him into the air, where he blasts him with a blast of energy*

(Kinda like telekineses.)

*Doom's health is still rising from the Bio-Enhancer*

Beast Awakening negated the telekinesis. Ovan reached Doom and rapidly began slashing and stabbing Doom. He finished the combo by thrusting his AIDA arm into Doom and deactivated the bio-enhancer.

*Doom takes the full thing*

Doom: Ah!

*Doom jams a pistol to Ovan's stomach and fires*

(This weapon (which looks much like a standard handgun) fires a tight beam of antimatter particles. When the beam contacts matter, an explosion results. "An antimatter extrapolator, Grimm! It will put a dent even in your thick hide!" Talking about the "Thing" in case you did not know)

As the smoke cleared, Ovan appeared to be unaffected. The AIDA arm tried to grab Doom.

*Doom pulled out with his other hand a new pistol and fired it into Ovan's AIDA arm*

(This device, which looks like a futuristic pistol, has the power to break down and absorb molecules. A target struck by the beam vanishes in a kaleidoscopic flash of light as they are broken down into their component molecules, which travel along the beam of energy and are absorbed into the weapon's storage unit.)

(Also, this will probable remove th AIDA arm from Ovan, rather then the whole Ovan. I'm being nice. lol)

The AIDA arm was unaffected. It grabbed at both weapons in Doom's hands.

"HEY! LISTEN!" said an annoying voice, "Ovan's using Beast Awakening, during this form he's immune to all attacks. You should have ran after you saw that the first powerful attack had no effect."

Regardless of whether or not Ovan got them, he jumped back. The effect of Beast Awakening weakened. It should end after your next post.

OOC: I actually gave you a break. Normally in Beast Awakening, the enemy is unable to move or attack. I didn't mention that so I guess I'm being nice too.

(lol. Could have told me nothing would work on him. Oh well.)

*Doom duplicated himself into 20 holograms, allowing himself to hide before Ovan got him, he activated a scrambler which negates the effects of scanning or radar*

Ovan simply shot Navi, the source of the advice. Beast Awakening wore off. He prepared himself.

OOC: I'm just mean like that.

(lol, Navi)

*Doom stood behind Ovan dual wielding both the pistols I have told you about. He fires rapidly*

(I'm mean too. lol. This might hurt.......)

As soon as Doom appeared behind Ovan, he recieved an elbow to his face. Chunks of the Rebirth's character design disappeared with each hit of the second pistol.

The AIDA arm acted again by grabbing Doom and throwing him away. Ovan fired a few well aimed shots, rather than the random rapid fire, at Doom using both weapons.

"You've survived two of my four basic awakenings," Ovan coughed, "I wonder if you can survive the others when they come."

OOC: Haha, Ovan has a bunch of holes in him now.

(lol, amazing endurance! Wait, I did not understand. What weapons is Ovan firing? I did not see him take Doom's. And I did not think he had weapons)

OOC: Oops. The way you worded the post after Navi got shot made me think that you were using different weapons of the same type. It sounded like you were saying it did in fact work after you said it didn't. Confusing. And Ovan has a gunblade-type weapon and a special dagger.

Well he used a technique similar to lock-on then fired small bombs at Doom instead.

(Wa? I did not understand a word of that....... Doom was shooting with the two pistols I stated before the antimatter extrapolator, and the futuristic pistol, that has the power to break down and absorb molecules.)

OOC: Here is what happened now.

As soon as Doom appeared behind Ovan, he(Doom) recieved an elbow to his face(hopefully stopping the weapons from firing at all).
Assuming that Doom still fired the weapons: Chunks of the Rebirth's(Ovan) character design disappeared with each hit of the futuristic pistol. (Thus the holes) Ovan winced with each hit from the extrapolator but didn't flinch.

The AIDA arm acted again by grabbing Doom and throwing him away. Ovan fired a few well aimed shots at Doom with his bayonet. Instead of bullets he used small explosives.

"You've survived two of my four basic awakenings," Ovan coughed, "I wonder if you can survive the others when they come."

(Awesome! That was so clear It was impossible to not understand)

*Doom is hit several times, he then lands on the ground and charges Ovan firing his dual weapons several more times, better accuracy this time, just less firing rate*

Ovan called AIDA to protect him from the attacks. A healing orb appeared and began to heal Ovan.

*Doom blasts it with the molecule absorbing pistol, while shooting Ovan with the other one*

Ovan shot two bullets with unhuman speed. One caused Doom's shot to ricochet. The other went toward Doom.

*The shot hits Doom in the chest sending him skidding back*

Doom: Hm, still kicking?

*Doom puts the pistols away and rips out the stasis rifle firing a keen shot straight for Ovan's chest*

Ovan did a Matrix-type sideflip and sent a Tri-Slash at Doom.

*Doom vanishes and appears to the side of Ovan about 10 feet away, again firing the Stasis rifle*

Ovan was hit and stunned.

Doom: Tough luck kid. Can't dodge them all.

*Doom appeared 5 feet in front of Ovan, he walks right up to him, placing the Molecule Displacer against his forehead and fires*

(Note: the wielder can either restore the victim whole & unharmed or scatter his molecules over a wide area, effectively killing him. So, if it hits Ovan can survive)

Ovan got hit.

(That it? Doom wins? Really?)

Doom: Ah, a valiant effort.

*Doom switches the gun so he will scatter Ovan's molecules once he pulls the trigger*

Doom: Is this satisfactory? Or do I have to finish him?

"I do not care, finish him if you wish," Sephiroth said.

OOC: Go on, do it.

OOC: Your planning something........ But I have plans of my own. I believe there is another way......... This may or may not make you angry. lol

Doom: Actually........ I may have use of this one. I will spare him. You may declare me victor now, as I said before: I have more important matters at hand.

*Doom pockets the Molecule Displacer*

OOC: Crap, oh well. You made the right choice though.

"Doom wins."

"I hate OHKO moves," Steve said, "I always found them unfair."

"Onlee because I wheep you weeth zem all ze time."

OOC: I knew it. lol. Sorry.
