Link vs Gimli (The not-Elf vs the Dwarfen Warrior)

Doom Bot: Match 4, Link vs Gimli. Begin!

Gimli: Call me short will ya! YAA!

*Gimli pounced at Link, bringing his ax chopping down*

"I didn't mean anything by it!" Link explained. He jumped back and did a back slash.

OOC: He rolls around Gimli and slashes him inthe back.

*After Link gets behind Gimli, but before he slashes, Gimli jabs him in the face with his Ax butt. Then whirls around and performs a head slice*

Gimli: What? Is the wee little lassy afraid of a my ax? Ha!

Link still managed to slice Gimili in the front. He lost balance from the blow to the face and fell to the ground barely dodging the head slice.

"Sorry for not standing still and allowing you to cut me in half." Link jumped back and shot at Gimili with Fire Arrows.

Gimli: Ha! Apology accepted youngin!


*gimli parried the arrow with his ax and then chucked a small ax at Link*

Link blocked with his shield and dropped a bombchu. It did nothing.

*Gimli charged forward swinging his ax from his overhand right*

Link lit the fuse and it charged straight toward Gimli.

*Gimli was not but inches away from Link so the Bombchu hit and sent him back a bit, but not far enough he jabbed with his ax head while still in range*

Bill: Dosn't Link have the Advantage here. And I don't mean Being tall. Gimli's Proveing that size dosn't matter
Bob: Yes Link does have the Advantge. I'm sure the Master Sword Counts as a "Sword" You know
Bill: I thought as much. but Gimli's out to prove that the Weapon triangle dosn't matter
Bob: Well in most cases it actualy dosn't. it's the Skills of the Combatants...
Bill: Yeah? well I'de say thoes Skills are evenly matched here

Link got hit with the explosion as well so Gimli missed. He threw his boomerang at Gimli's ax. He was trying to take it out of his hands.

*Gimli held is ax upright as the boomerang circled around it, Gimli watched as it went around and around and around. He kept his grip though. And finally he attempted to head butt the boomerang*

OOC: 0_o?

The boomerang fell to the ground.

OOC: I don't know if Gimli would get hurt by it with his helm.

Link tried shooting Gimli in the eyes with his slingshot.

Bob: Slingshot? He still uses the Slingshot?!
Bill: Why does Nintendo keep haveing him use that? it's only good for Young Link...

"Hey, the slingshot is badass!" Link yelled.

*The shot hit him in the forehead*

Gimli: AH! Why you little rascal! YAAA!

*Gimli leaped through the air, jumping surprisingly far for a dwarf, and brought his ax slamming down*

Link blocked with is sword and did a Great Spin.

Bob: Hey wait. the Great Spin needs you to be at Full HP. Link was hit by his own Explosion and there fore not at Full.
Bill: Which means it's only a normal Swordspin!

OOC: Thanks for that. I wouldn't have got it.

*Gimli blocked with his ax handle and brought the end flying up into Link's ___ place*

OOC: O cwap, I fowgot about that..... Just to clarify, this is OOT Link. He only knows TP techniques because almost every sword user on the site know them.

Link fell to his knees and thew down Din's Fire.

*Gimli is knocked back a bit by the flames and his beard catches fire. He rushes to put it out. And does so*

Link did a helm splitter on Gimli.

*Gimli held his ax in the air blocking it, then whirled around and kicked Link in the butt*

Because of Gimli's block, Link expected a counter and jumped forward. He threw a normal bomb at Gimli.

*Gimli was knocked back, but he quickly charged forward again swinging his ax*

Link sidestepped and pulled out his Great Fairy's Sword.

OOC: The most powerful sword in the era. It can kill a dodongo in one hit if I remember correctly.

*Gimli leg sweeps Link while he was off balance from the sidestep*

OOC: Since when does sidestepping throw you off balance?

Link did a jump slice dodging the sweep.

OOC: Try it. It does.

*Gimli blocked and whirled around hitting with the butt of the ax again*

OOC: Nope, kept meh balance. =P

Link blocked the attack with his shield and tried hitting the dwarf with it.

OOC: Adult Link can use the Great Fairy's Sword in one hand.

*Gimli hopped back and chucked a small ax at him*

The ax bounced off Link's shield.

*Gimli jumped 6 feet into the air and slammed his ax down on Link creating a small earthquake*

Link teetered back and forth trying to keep his balance, then attacked Gimli.

OOC: SHUT UP! The ax was coming down on top of Link!

OOC: lolz. I couldn't resist. Sorry, back to the RP.

Link put up his shield to block and fell to his knees due to the force of the attack.

*Gimli used the butt of the ax as a lift to throw the shield up and flip it around slamming the top of the ax head into Link's face*

Link lost his shield but rolled around Gimli's side attempting to slice his back.

*It worked and Gimli staggered forward from the hit, but quickly retaliated by whirling the ax around to Link*

The ax got stuck in Link's arm. The blow had so much force that it spun him around and sent him across the arena.

OOC: Uh. I'm having trouble understanding this. Sorry.

Link was stuck so he spun with the ax. He eventually came off and was thrown away.

OOC: Thanks.

*Gimli threw a small ax after him, before taking off toward him with the ax held overhead*

Link got hit in the same arm and landed against the wall.

*Gimli brought the ax roaring from the right toward Link*

Link slid himself out of the way hoping the ax would get stuck in the wall.

OOC: I was hoping you would do that. Just because it seemed like it would happen. I actually didn't plan against it.

*The ax got stuck. Gimli began yanking on it to get it out*

Link did a helmsplitter.

*Gimli's helm split*

Gimli: AH! Why you......

*Gimli places his foot against the wall and rips the ax from the wall*

Gimli: I'll kill ya!

*Gimli swung the ax wildly*

Link backflipped and shot ice arrows at Gimli.
