Link vs Gimli (The not-Elf vs the Dwarfen Warrior)

*Gimli was hit twice, freezing in place*

Link did a spinning attack with the fairy sword.

*Critical hit! Gimli is thrust stumbling backward*

Gimli: OOF!

Link pulled out his Megaton hammer and attempted to smash Gimli's head.

*Gimli leaped back whirling his ax overhead and chopped at Link's neck*

Link moved out of the axhead's path and got hit by its hilt instead. He rolled to the side and threw on the Blast Mask.

*As Link rolled to the side Gimli tossed a small ax at Link with out really looking, but it gave him the opportunity to toss it before Link could move*

Link was hit in the same shoulder he was hit in previously. He stood up and charged Gimli.

OOC: Uh, is there something special about this shoulder?

*Gimli charged Link, holding his ax by the very bottom of the handle and swinging it to its full length*

OOC: Nope.

Link rolled around Gimli and exploded on him.

*Gimli was sent flying he landed in a roll he managed to get to his feet with nothing but single digits of health left, his ax lay where he was hit*

Gimli: Is that all ye got laddie? *coughs up blood* Come and get me!

*Gimli pulls out two small axs*

Link only had half a heart left from his last attack. He pulled out his guilded sword and his fairy sword. This would be his first attempt at duel wielding.

*Gimli got into a fighting stance and waited*

Link threw a Bombchu. It started off toward Gimli.

*Gimli chucked the small ax at it while it was still it the air in front of Haseo, blowing it up*

Since Haseo wasn't there, nothing happened. I mean.....

Link's current HP was halved.

OOC: SHUT UP! I've had enough of you.

Doom bot: Winner! Gimli!

OOC: To mean? Alright.

*Gimli threw the other ax*

OOC: Lol, anger management.

Link deflected the ax with his swords.

OOC: Twice a week. Should I be going more?

*Gimli drew two more axes, huffing and puffing he waited for Link's next move*

OOC: It wouldn't hurt....

Link took a few steps forward.

*Gimli held his ground. His eyes glistened against the light reflecting from his ax, a drop of sweat streamed down his cheek, and blood seeped out from his open wounds. But he did not falter, his knees stayed firm, not buckle under the heavy frame of the dwarf. His arms, remained steady, holding his axes at the ready. Gimli son of gloin, was ready to give his life, for the thrill of battle*

Link could not hold the blade in his right arm high any longer, he lost too much blood, it hung limp at his side. Link brought his other sword behind him.

*Gimli watched Link, even in his weakened state, he was proud*

Gimli: HA! Was a-matter laddie! Sword to big for ye? I'll carve you a-nice wooden one after the match!

*Gimli whirled the axes in his hands*

Gimli: AH! Come on! I ain't getting any younga!

Link did a sword spin that resembled Toon Link's hurricane spin. As he spun toward Gimli, he let go of his Gilded sword. It shot straight at the dwarf like a bullet, and Link tried spinning into him.

*Gimli spun, whacking the sword aside, then as he completed the 360 he let go of one of his axes, chucking it right at Link.*

Link managed to smack the ax away. He spun into Gimli trying to hit him with the Great Fairy Sword.

*Gimli leaped on Link as the sword, he managed to time it so he was not hit by the sword, miraculously. He brought his small ax down into Link's chest*

OOC: Too bad, I was looking forward to using Link in the next round.

OOC: It was a good match. I really wanted Gimli in the next match, but also Link. I even felt I was going to lose during the match. Wow, we always have some entertaining matches dude!

OOC: yeah, we does.
